Volcan - Tours des cratères

The adventure begins on the first slopes of approaches, the landscape is becoming more and more arid to transform into "lunar" landscape on arrival on Sand plain

A departure at 8am from no Bellecombe is reasonable to put the odds on our side to have a good weather window. The entry into the enclosure, the descent of the rampart, is done by a small “staircase” type path for about twenty minutes ... We then arrive on lava fallen into "bouses" or roped lava, giving the impression of being on the moon!

In this truly exotic atmosphere, we go up and go around the formica leo , ancient small purge crater in yellow and red colors. Then we head towards the (natural) chapel of rosemont making you discover the atmosphere of "lava tunnels" ...

From the 2 options:
Option 1 : Stroll around the main crater then return to no Bellecombe
Option 2 : Ascension of the summit (+1h) then turn of the crater dolomieu Depending on weather conditions and prefectural arrest which can intervene at the slightest tremor, eruptions, collapses ...

The summit offers us a magnificent point of view on the "caldera", snow piton and South South ...

If the volcano is in action, we will modify the hike to points of view on possible flows.
