Sports initiation by the day, come and make a crossing of almost 2 km, with a few low passages and narrowness (hoses never compulsory) for those who want to live the underground adventure thoroughly.
You will discover the history of the Piton de la Fournaise volcano while discovering the formation of lava tunnels and its specific concretions, the dodo, the filaos fossils, the shark and the fantastic lights of light.
After 10 minutes of approach, you will enter the tunnel by an entrance of 1.50m / 2m. You will walk up most of the time and discover "the shark", "the dodo", filaos fossils (per-morphose), stalactites and columns ...
You will pass under the road and continue exploration by passing under a few magnificent lights of light decorated with lush vegetation. Some low passages will be compulsory to go up in the flow, where you will sometimes have to progress on my knees. An easy climbing will allow you to get out of the flow, before walking between 30 and 40 minutes to reach cars.

Equipment provided: helmet with lamp, kneeles, gloves
Provide: a picnic, water, a backpack, pants, sports shoes, long sleeve t -shirt if you have.

La remontée se fait par un petit sentier cabris (échappatoire), bien raide avec des passages à cordes où il faut s'assurer.
Cette montée ne demande pas d'effort cardio car on monte doucement, mais elle est physique car on tire autant sur les bras que sur les jambes.La fin de la marche retour se fait par l'arête faut y croire, ambiance varappe/montagne qui vous laissera au moins autant de souvenirs que le rappel de 55m ! L'arrivée se fait sur la route, à 200m des voitures.;
