Canyon of Fleur Jaune

The pearl of Reunion canyons , a real bouquet of sensations (reminders, reminders toboggans, jumps). This canyon is airy and sunny, technically easy. It is accessible to all those who have a minimum of physical condition and who do not have an «uncontrollable vertigo».

After 10 min of approach walking and a few small possible jumps, we enter a magnificent throat revealing a succession of four pools and slide reminders from 12 to 20m. Ideal to start!

Generally, the sun dominates the whole morning. In half the canyon, the gorge opens in front of the snow piton offering a panoramic view of Cilaos. Here we are at the 55m reminder. Impressive but technically easy because it is possible to make it as a reminder of slide (on the back, facing the void).

We finish the canyon on a 35m reminder then one 20m before putting us comfortable for the picnic.

The ascent is by a small "Cabris path" (escape), very steep with roping passages where you have to secure. This climb does not require "cardio" effort because we go up slowly, but it is physical because we shoot as much on the arms as on the legs.
The end of the return walk is done by the ridge "you have to believe it", atmosphere valiant/mountain which will leave you at least as many memories as the recall of 55m! The arrival is on the road, 200m from cars.

If you have to do only one canyon on Cilaos is undoubtedly this one!
